The frame is richly carved with leaf foliage cresting at top in ornate curves.

This Mahogany Half Tester Bed is superb and has a half canopy over the head end, this has a muted fabric panel inset. The foot board of the bed has a pleasantly curved shape.
This is a handsome and monumental piece with a beautiful patina.
